Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop course curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; |
|
(e) |
To serve as a module leader and review module content to align with industrial practice and maintain the standard and quality of the programmes; and |
|
(f) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, campus departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, seminars and exhibitions, and publicity materials where necessary. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Good communication, teaching and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(c) |
Experienced with OBS Studio and / or Adobe programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro; |
|
(d) |
Proactive, positive and possess good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; |
|
(e) |
Strong commitment to serve the youth and with a proven record of success in managing vocationally-inclined students; |
|
(f) |
Preferably with good records of linkage with industry and / or professional bodies; |
|
(g) |
Preferably with experience in teaching diploma course and providing guidance and support to students in open competitions; and |
|
(h) |
Preferably with good records in curriculum design and development, student admission, discipline and related work. |

(1) |
The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and outside campus. |
|
(5) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
