Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform installation, operation, repair and maintenance of the equipment, laboratory kits, tools and facilities in laboratories, workshops, practice areas and any other training locations as required; |
(b) |
To provide technical support to and assistance in experimental demonstrations to students and maintaining class discipline and safety during practical classes; |
(c) |
To assist in troubleshooting, acquisition, installation and inventory management of all equipment, hardware and software; |
(d) |
To assist in the procurement and control of relevant stores, inventory and consumables as well as the tools and equipment to be used in the laboratories; and |
(e) |
To maintain the safety and tidiness of the laboratories / workshops. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
(c) |
Candidates with experience / knowledge in one or more of the following area(s) would have an advantage: |

(i) |
Battery charging technology |
(ii) |
Low power long range data transmission |
(iii) |
Electrical installation |
(iv) |
(Electrical machine and drive |
(d) |
Good command in both English and Chinese; |
(e) |
Good communication and problem solving skills; and |
(f) |
Mature, independent, self-motivated and able to work in a team. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
