Shine Skills Centre is a member of the VTC Group. In a caring environment, the Centre provides a wide range of industry-specific skill training and support services for people with disabilities aged 15 or above to enhance their employability and support their integration into the society. |

Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties for Physical Education module, Sports and Recreation Programme and other related activities, including the duties of theoretical and practical training in the physical education lesson and the trade of sports and recreation service, supervision of students’ projects, fieldwork placement and outreach training; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching materials; |
(d) |
To organise sports and recreational activities; |
(e) |
To plan, design and organise students’ activities and experiential learning programmes; |
(f) |
To monitor the operation of relevant training venues, including routine maintenance of equipment / facilities, procurement and store inventory; and |
(g) |
To support other functions and projects, relevant boards and committees or task teams including but not limited to drafting papers, reports and secretarial support. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Physical Education, Sports, Sport Science or equivalent, preferably with teaching practicum in school setting or equivalent and / or with post-graduate qualifications; |
(b) |
Preferably with the ability to teach at least two sports; |
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
(d) |
Preferably with knowledge and experience in working with students with special educational needs and facilitating Adventure-based Education Programmes. |

The post is in the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English and Chinese. |
(3) |
Appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or in designated places as assigned. |
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
