Discipline Overview of Hospitality

Hospitality :

Hong Kong being the Asia’s World City is renowned for its high level of professionalism and service standards in the region. As the hospitality and tourism industry recovers, several large exhibition venues and events have reopened, leading to rapid developments in sports and leisure sectors and thereby accelerating talent development. The Hospitality Discipline offers professional programmes in three major areas: Hotel and Catering, Tourism and MICE, and Leisure and Sports. These programmes are supported by excellent facilities, smart technology applications and well-balanced curricula. With a practical approach to teaching and learning, coupled with project-based learning and Workplace Learning and Assessment (WLA), students are able to integrate theory with practice and gain real life work experience through industrial attachment. After graduation, students can pursue further studies or have a head start in their chosen career fields.
